There’s a reason Jennifer Halm has been named in Washingtonian as one of the region’s top Realtors for three years running: After 24 years in the business, she continues to embrace change as the industry has moved from newspaper listings to social-media marketing. Halm’s colleagues praise her tech savvy, as she’s become one of Compass’ most adept at using targeted Facebook and Instagram ads among her many tools to promote clients’ properties—everything from a condos to a multi-million-dollar estates.
Jennifer’s real-estate career began after she moved to Northern Virginia 25 years ago, first in the mortgage lending industry and then in sales for a prominent luxury homebuilder before moving out on her own. As a result, she’s seen all sides of a transaction, from positioning a home for the market to finalizing the sale. She and her team cover the entire DC region, with licenses in Virginia, DC and Maryland.
One might say that Jennifer was forced to negotiate from an early age—as the youngest of 11 siblings, the Dallas native had no other choice if she wanted to hold her own in a large household. Indeed, clients still hear the occasional “y’all” while she’s showing a house, but make no mistake: Underneath that polite Southern veneer is a hard-as-nails advocate for her buyers and sellers. Her dedication has earned her honors as a Lifetime NVAR Top Producer, and she has nothing but 5-star ratings in dozens of reviews on Zillow.
Jennifer lives in Great Falls with her husband and three sons—the older boys are at Columbia University and Boston College and the third attends Langley High School. When she’s not at work, you’re likely to find her volunteering for Langley’s football and lacrosse teams (Go Saxons!) and attending college football games in New York and Boston. With an almost-empty nest, Jennifer loves to spoil her two Cavalier King Charles spaniels, Bo and June.
Together with her team at Compass, Jennifer is eager to find an equally ideal neighborhood and community for your family

Originally from Charlottesville, VA, Rhiannon experienced a bit of culture shock when she relocated to Northern Virginia as a teen. Going from (literally) being able to see the Blue Ridge Mountains from her back yard, to living right outside of the nation’s capital was a big adjustment. Now, many years later, she’s a proud Alexandria City resident and wouldn’t have it any other way!
As a child, Rhiannon wanted to be a teacher, doctor, lawyer, social worker…any and every job that would allow her to work with and be of service to people of all backgrounds. She easily found her passion in Real Estate as being an agent combines her lifelong desire to work with people and her fascination with architecture and local real estate markets. She is passionate about her neighborhood and city of Alexandria and is dedicated to making sure her clients love where they live just as much as she does. After all, the home search is where a lot of the fun is!
With a background in sales and customer service, she understands that each person, and their real estate journey, is unique and believes in treating them as such. In her free time, she enjoys daydreaming about her $6M dream home in Old Town, cuddling with her two cats Sherlock and Barnaby, exploring and supporting local and small businesses, and improving her skills as an agent.
As a Northern Virginia native, Brittany is excited to begin her real estate journey in the community that shaped her. She has an extraordinary passion for design that compliments her previous marketing and sales experience.
Prior to entering the industry Brittany was a student at Old Dominion University, where she earned two bachelor's degrees in Marketing and Sport Management. During her time in undergrad Brittany began her devotion to serving her community through volunteer organizations. She now continues to give back to her community by serving as an advisor to the Kappa Delta chapter at George Mason University and is also the head coach of the Junior Varsity and Freshman Cheer teams at her alma mater, Hayfield Secondary School located in Alexandria, Virginia. As the oldest of five children Brittany is no stranger to chaos and solving problems on her feet.
In her free time she enjoys watching Marvel Movies with her one-eyed cat Binx, whom her family rescued from a local shelter. Whether serving first time home buyers or seasoned professionals, Brittany hopes to have a meaningful impact on her clients lives as she helps guide them through the process of purchasing a home.
